Are you worried about your thin eyelashes ? Well, you are not the only one. Many people want thicker eyelashes. They make a person’s eyes look even more beautiful and attractive.

Well there are many methods to grow your lashes. It might not work for everyone. The process of growing lashes works differently for everyone, for some it might take one week or one month but it will definitely grow up if you keep on doing everyday withoutgiving up.


Castor oil contains natural compounds that promote hair growth. A large percentage of castor oil contains Crinoline acid, one of the essential amino acids required by the human body. It’s an Omega-9 fatty acid that can penetrate into the pores of the skin and the hair follicles.

  • Use a clean brush or a cotton swab to apply castor oil on your lashes before going to bed. You can also add a few drops of vitamin E oil to the castor oil before applying. Leave it on overnight, then rinse it off with lukewarm water in the morning
  • Do this method twice a day for 2 to 3 months as per your desire thickness or length.


It has essential nutrients along with mono-unsaturated fatty acids that reduce the hair loss by strengthening the hair from roots to tip. It also thickens the hair-strands. Massaging with olive oil on the scalp will help to improve the blood circulation which stimulates the follicles to produce thicker hair-strands.

  • Dip a clean, old mascara stick or simply a cotton swab in warm olive oil.
  • Before going to bed, apply the oil carefully on your lashes, just as you would apply mascara.Leave it on overnight, then wash it off with lukewarm water in the morning.
  • Repeat this remedy daily for a few months until you get the desired result.
